hi every one can someone tell me if they no of anybody who make,s stick on no plates driving home tonight and local police having a blitz on drivers on A48 police cars everywhere 'any way, cut along story short my no plate on the front is not legal to small ,tryed telling officer it helps with the airflow but he is having none of it, so can anyone tell me if they no of a firm that make stick on no plate so i can put it on the bonnet manythanks paul

I spent a long time investigating the legalities of plates for the same reason as you and, to cut a long story short, it is not possible to get the right reflective background to be legal in self adhesive. The officious barstewards (no offence to the real beverage trade) have prevented it from being sold. Check out the legal requirements on the dvla website.

craigplates do them as a show plate but as mentioned earlier not legalfrown

Fancyplates.com - got a white one for about £11.

No, they are not offiocially legal, but you would probably have more luck with one of these than a dinky one.

I keep a full size legal spare in the boot - "Oh, I'm terribly sorry, Officer, I forgot to change it back after the meet yesterday. Just give me a sec with my screw-driver..."

Thats who I used for the front plate and I also keep the original large plate in the boot.yes
