Door hinge shims

I think I need another shim to put in the driver's door so that the new seals aren't over squashed at the front and floppy at the back...

Does anyone have a picture of one or dimensions etc so I know what I need to make before I pull the car apart? And are there shims at the top only, or are there some at the bottom too?

Or better yet, does anyone have a thin shim to spare?

My best guess is that I need about 1mm.
