Strange motor next to battery?

[bigb]

Can anyone tell me what the small motor located in the front passenger footwell behind the battery box is for. It has a clear plastic pipe coming from it. The car has air conditioning fitted if that's anything to do with it.

It sounds very much like your heater valve to me. Has i got two rubber hoses attached?
