Hopefully the car'll be ready tomorrow. It's been at Guglielmi Motorsport for some time being 'emeralded".
It was a real PITA according to the guys; the crank sensor/sourcing 4pin coilpacks/a WHOLE NEW engine loom/alarm+immobilzer gave aggro, the car being a pre-cat etc...
The complete install looks geat. As it still has a 'mild' cam I'm not expecting super-dooper power bearing in mind it only has a little engine.

The precat might make it a little bit more difficult, but i reckon on about 8 hours to install an emerald with loom and coil packs etc, with about 3-5 hours on the dyno after depending what spec the car is in. They're a little beauty to work with and are very easy to set-up and map .. good choice thumbup

on a precat (ie preserps engine in this instance as it's the engie bit we're interested in) the dizzy is required to drive the oil pump, on the serps cars you can remove it and use the space for the two coil packs .. also fitting the crank trigger wheel and sensor is easier on the serps cars as there's a lovely JE mounting specifically for it. ive never found a good mounting for a non serps engine. other than that though the fitting should be about the same for all RV8 TVRs.

Hopefully be able to go to the meet, I'll be getting in from work at about 10am.

Just got back from the garage, there's still a few niggles to sort so it looks like it'll be friday as I'm working tomorrow.
