Not difficult at all. Mine currently has no heater.

The heater box will JUST come out without removing the dash if you're prepared to (gently) force it a little. You'll need a little 180 degree bit of pipe to bypass the coolant flow to the heater matrix, or better yet you could remove the feed pipes entirely...

If your cooling system is working well then you can simply plumb the feed and return into each other to form a loop. This acts as a (small) extra bypass which increases coolant flow through the engine. It also slightly reduces the flow through the radiator; if the cooling system is struggling then blocking these pipes off completely will give you fractionally more cooling. TBH if the system is so marginal that you need this, you should be addressing that problem anyway.

Actually my cooling sistem has been uprated with an alu radiator and a nice scoop on the hood, never ever since these mods i had overheating, even in a traffic jam during the summer (when before this iussue was a real pain in THAT place...)

Hi Giuseppe,

Do you have any photos of your scoop? I can make out a bulgy-scoop on your profile, but I'd like to see a clearer photo, if possible?

...here are the pics of the hood scoop...i've taken a few in the garage this evening but they came out dark like a troubled night!

the scoop feeds air in just where the direct filter is attached to the airmeter(bear in mind on LHD cars the airmeter is on the wrong side of the engine bay...

DNB how's the new heater box project going?

If you still want to do the air conditioning version of the box using mine as the development mule, then now would be a good time for me. With the engine only just back in, I haven't regassed the A/C yet.

Panic. I like cleaner line without the main beam lights.

Something you did, or did export models get made that way?

I assume those are the 7" headlights. I prefer these to the aftermarket seperate small lights. I think you can get those with the indicators in the pod too.

Has anyone put 7" lights and the indicators into the pods?

I was thinking of the original indicator holes as air intakes.
