Had my first breakdown in 4 years this morning.

Of course it wasn't the car, but the 'Sigma' immobiliser...

But that's my second tale of woe:

1) Filled up with fuel, pump cut off didn't operate...geyser of unleaded all over the boot + contents. Great.

2) Immobiliser won't deactivate. Spend 1/2 hour on forecourt bypassing fuel pump immobiliser circuit, forget start also immobilised. Spend 1/2 hour bypassing starter immobiliser, Griff raors into life with half the loom in the passenger footwell and half the dashboard on the passenger seat.

3) Replace bonnet stay and bonnet stay clip breaks. Arse!

Thanks to the Chim owner who offered help.

What's the source for those pastic bonnet stay clips?
