...without assistance whilst driving....yikes

Fortunately it didnt open fully, managed to latch itself on, so to speak. Happened three times all in awkward spots. Never done this before, so anyone else experience this. It closes solidly, methinks its something electrical...scratchchin

There is nothing electrical that can open the door, has to be mis-alighnment of either the door press or more likely the "secret" boot entry. You can "electrify" the original door press, so just a light press will open the doors.

Is the striker properly fastened in the door frame? My door popped open once whan I first got it 'cos the three screws had worked loose...

Mmmm. Was a bit of a bumpy ride for about three hours around Lancaster, Trough of bowland etc (my gf even came along-shes not a fan of my griff) so will have a look at both these things tomorrow.

Mr Beer, must organize your brighter lights mod soooon!

How about a kit with a window drop and close relay like the tuscan
