'99 Griff 500. It has a passenger footwell light, should the drivers side have one? I have been underneath with a torch but you know what the footwells like.

I don't think they did as a rule, but you never know. I had one fitted aftermarket and some in the boot as well. Makes life easier!

Thanks for the answers chaps. Seems like we get a passenger one then, unless you're called Fordy?

Suprised at that Cliv, I thought they had all come with one . . . I don't imain it would have been on the options lists so thought it was standard kit . . .

The connectors are there in the loom AFIK.. I just stuck a metro one in mine - makes accessing the fusebox on a dark night a bit easier (sods law means adding this is very sensible IMHO wink )

The only downside to having one of these lights in either or both footwells is it's easy to catch the switch with your foot as you get in/out and turn the light on permanently which surprisingly quickly flattens your battery.

Tiss on the right hand side between the glove Box bottom and the end of the dash going under the footwell. I didnt know i had one for a while until I was rumaging about under there...There was no bulb in it.... would have been better to put it nearer the fuse panel IMHO

Put one of the super bright LED bulbs in there to give a better light and reduce current drawn
