I posted here yesterday regarding a valuation on my car but it has been deleted? Have I broken some sacred forum rule? If so would have been nice if big brother could let me know rather than wiping me off the face of the earth! It was a genuine enquiry due to the nature of the vehicle and not an attempt to sell via the forum.

Lets hope somebody can help then. I've been around on here for quite a few years - although I guess that makes no difference!

This can and does happen from time to time

Don't take it personal fella but i agree it is irritating when it happens

I just rant and rave on the Web site Feed back forum until i get a pat on the head and told to STFU if you see what i mean

OK then gents here is goes again!
I’m looking for a valuation on my car – I can’t go by the classifieds as it was Cat C registered back in 2001. The car is:
1997 Black Griff 500
37K
Will have new MOT prior to sale which will probably require new outriggers. The rest of chassis is in good condition.
Rear quarter has poor paint match to rest of car due to repair – you can see this in bright sunlight.
Black targa panel has scuff at 2 inch square
Black leather and carpets are in good condition
Mechanically the car is very good as commented on by TVR specialist
Limited service history – 2 TVR services, some receipts and a £1200 service at Austec after I bought it in the summer.
Just had new front ball joints
So what do you lot think? I’m looking for a realistic price that ensures I don’t wait around too long for a buyer.
Thanks all,
Rob

I bought just 1 year ago a 1997 car, with 38.000 miles, so, like your.I’m looking for a valuation on my car – I can’t go by the classifieds as it was Cat C registered back in 2001. The car is:

good condition exept stonechips, only real minus the car had 5 previous owners already, but it had full service history, and according to ingelby who inspected the car for me, it probably had never been driven in winter as the chassis had never been protected but was still almost like new. it was was recently serviced (700 pounds invoice 3 months before the sale) i bought it 12500 gbp. and honnest the owner told me that in 3 months od adverts, i was just the 3rd to go to see the car.

You know what? Why don't you do what everyone else would do? Despite it being Cat C, stick these very words in a FREE CLASSIFIED advert on Pistonheads, after having a look at the (currently 42) Griffs already for sale, match them to your car, suggest a price you think is competitive, add a few photos, and see what happens. How hard can it be? I’m looking for a valuation on my car – I can’t go by the classifieds as it was Cat C registered back in 2001. The car is:
