Maybe it was Clive who bought the aluminium, vented, Griff bonnet from eBay and conveyed it home on the front of a Peugeot?

yes, twas me, but it was in the back of the peugeot, a certain steve j thought it would be a good prank to place it on the front of the 306 to see what it would look like, but I wouldn`t oblige hehe

all in all though I think I got a bargain, just need to do a little repair then have it sprayed to match my car, and hopefully a cunning induction mod will now be possibleyes

I think thats going to be tricky, looked like it needed cross braces to me. Can only see it flexing and cracking the paintwork without significant support wink

thats just what I was thinking Dave, the damage happened while it was off the car apparently, but to be honest the flex isn`t that much more than the fibre glass one, but I think it will benefit from some bracing just to be on the safe side.

by the way Dave, is there a way of testing an afm to see if its working correctly?

Best tests I know of are from the proper 'Rover' manuals:

Like http://tvr3.dspen.com/ph/efi_test.zip (I wont leave it there too long BTW wink )

Clive, if you're in need of an AFM then my distributor and AFM were both replaced last July with reconditioned exchange one's by TVR Power.
I won't be needing them.

Clive - I think I have a reasonably easy way of testing AFMs.

I could do with getting 2 calibrated to read the same and using them for testing something on my Griff...
