Hi there,
Can anybody give me a hint on how to adjust the height of the window (UK driver's side) as it does not reach the roofs'edge by about 3 to 4mm? I read in the bible that "some models" have a window heigth adjustement screw located inside the door (my Griff is a 94 model), but I cannot see it... How can I know if I have it or not / does it requires to take off the door "panel" ?
Thanks in advance for any help,

I adjusted my passenger side window last week, as the back edge was not touching the rubber. Mines a 94 Griff. Firstly, undo the screws on the outside of the door trim, not forgetting the one under the reflector. Then you have to undo the three nuts on the inside of the door trim by gaining access through the speaker hole. Then after removing the plastic membrane, with the window up, undo the bolt near the centre of the door whilst pulling up on the glass and retighten it. Hope this helps. Craig

OR if your window is square but just low if you lower the window and get a blade screwdriver, move the bristle brush and about half way along the window you will find a screw head turning this will raise or lower the glass depending upon rotation.

I'm not sure if the window height adjustment screw is on all models, but if it is the other solutions should solve your problem.

One thing I found when I re-covered my roof section was that the rubber door seal runners, that are screwed to the targa roof section, had washers behind them as in the picture below.

These washers didn't run the whole length of the roof edge, just in the area shown. The end had 2 washers and the next one in was just a single washer. There were none on the passenger side at all.

I suppose these were intended to counter a non-square window by providing and equally out of square roof edge to butt against.

However, if you go this route remember to add some kind of Silicone Sealant to seal any gap you might create if you add in any washers.

Thanks to all. Instead of an adjustement screw I have an hexagonal nut which does not look like an adjustement "device". But we the 2 other ways you depicted I am quite sure I will find a way - thanks for the pics!

Hi , Have just had a go at my 94 griff , the passenger side has an exposed screw as mentioned above , but on the drivers side there is a what appears to be an hexagonal nut , but on closer inspection has in the middle a screwdriver slot which was filled with corrosion and was hardly noticable , turning the nut on mine will twist the whole column and it may break . The screw on mine was swized solid and never amnaged to shift it ,but tightened up the top door hinge to take up a little play and is virtually there . Passenger door took seconds to adjust .
go careful incase yours is the same .
