GROWL - Room booking

I have spoken to Ettington who tell me there are only 9 doubles booked for the Saturday so there are lots of rooms free including doubles and twins.
Please ensure you quote "GRIFF GROWL" when booking and get a confirmation in writing or by e-mail. If you have any problems please ask to speak to Rachel Thomas - she is only there Monday to Friday office hours.
If you get no joy after that please contact me.

whats up Ant, just the one not good enough for you? I suppose your bringing your hairdresser, make up girl,waiter and personal valet, and possibly the mrs as well?

king work I am doing ,I am taking no risks......in truth, due to unfortunate and unforseen and truly sad circumstances late last year, my stepdaughter will probably be joining us this year, so she has her own room.

Perhaps if they got on top of their booking system they would have more.
The first time I called them and booked I was told they had only twin rooms left, so I booked a twin.
The second time I called them they had doubles available, but no trace of my first booking.
So far neither booking has produced the promised confirmation email.
for both nights with no problems 
All booked....Saturday night.
Double checked, tripple checked that all the details were correct, and requested both email and written confirmation... so hopefull this year to be staying at Ettington Chase, and to have have me Griff with me, may be the the Missus
as well (hopefully not) )

The problem is not everyone quotes Griff Growl which confuses the system. I'll ask for a list of names. I have a ref sent by e-mail (& for BBWF) so if you don't get one chase them, they'll soon get cheesed off. I'll mention the issues again.FFG

Confirmations will be sent/resent to everyone who has booked. Lindsay (conquecento) has got confirmation by e-mail as he'll be asleep when we're awake.
Ant (Anthonyj) and Clive (clivef) can you contact Rachel Thomas (01789 740000) as they have no e-mail or address for either of you and they can then send confirmation.
To reiterate the booking process:
1) Call hotel (01789 740000) and quote "Griff Growl" - this is because I have blocked every room so the general public will be told there are no rooms and they can allocate rooms to the event, ie when I call they can tell me exactly how many rooms are booked.
2) Get a confirmation - give them your e-mail or postal address, if they do not ask for either please prompt them.
3) If you don't get confirmation or have any problems initially speak to Rachel Thomas (Monday to Friday daytime only)
4) If all else fails e-mail me and I'll sort it.
