I work in Lithuania, and next week, a guy is gonna fix some scsratch on my Elise, i use it as an "experience" before to ask him a full paint of the Griffith this summer.
It might be very cheap here, but not sure of course to handle it with a car from UK would still worth the hassle. Maybe yes, as many body shop here already works for western client regularly. Before they used to buy crashed car in europe, to fix and to sell them here, but now i see many transporter to send back to west europe crashed car which has been fixed here...

it just show your ignorance rolleyes, as for instance, for classic cars restoration, it is already a few years, that body shop around here are full of cars from west europe clients...
check austin-rover.co.uk for a first hand experience as the webmaster has currently as SD1 under restoration in Poland awth the full story on the site.
But you are free to pay full price in UK if u prefere, me I m Belgian, European, enjoying cheap price and business oportunities in new European countries for a few years, and if they can paint my grif here for half the price of the normal cost, i will do without hesitation...
and by the way, i m absolutly not in the car business, so i have absolutly no personal interest in any deal... wink
