Fed up with worn locator plates that mean you are forever pulling your headrest back up to where you want?
£0.25 worth of 1” clear tubing from B&Q
Boil the kettle, have a cuppa, put left over water in a mug, put a previously cut to suit section of tubing in the mug. Wait 1 minute
Get out washing up liquid, gain brownie points with the missus by washing up your tea mug and put a little liquid on the chrome stay. Remove tubing from mug and slide into place thus. Best not to dawdle at this stage or it will cool off too much
Hey presto, slide headrest back into seat, never need to adjust again. And lets hope you don’t have to, as that tubing will probably now have to be cut off.
For those who have not tried Moosehunter patent No1 I can highly recommend it

I'm not sure why you've now created a split rear section for the hood - I guess thats for when you're using only one half of your split targa panel

It's not you, the pictures are no longer at the location in the link. You don't really need the pictures as the words are self explanatory. 
Had a go at this last night. First one (passenger side) went well as it was only around 2-3 inches raised, however, being tall I need mine right up high, and it proved a bloody nightmare due to the length of the tube. After an hour of heating, lubing (fnarr!), re-heating, cursing and punching things I gave up after managing to get about half the tube on and cut it off. After a rethink, I had another go. This time I made two changes - first, the little bit of metal that sticks out the side to provide a little tension was popped inside the metal headrest tube - this dragged on the plastic tube making it difficult. Secondly, I put the plastic tube in the boiling water then nuked it in the microwave to really soften it. The combination worked a treat, and what I'd failed to do in over an hour took two minutes 
Anyway, it works a treat now it's done and will no doubt save many a moan when it had previously dropped after a drive. Ta Moose!
