Track rod, wich one, info needed please

My left (LHD car) track rod has some play and i want to order a new one. I asked Keith from Clever Trevor if he could supply one. He asks me what type i have in my car, can anyone shed some light on this.
Keith asked me the following question: "there were two types of steering rack fitted around that date and the track rods were different, the later rack had track rods with a male threaded end take a look on the site at TVR009 I have these in stock, the earlier type had a large nut screwed over the top of the track rod ball and to remove play you just remove shims".
It's a 1993 Griffith 4.3 (with cat), without PAS.
At the moment i don't have access to my car, it's getting new HID lights installed, so i'm asking you guys and girls if anyone knows what to order.

I don't know if the LHD rack is the same as the RHD ones anyway?

According to the guy at the allignplace it was the joint. One of our members has contacted me that he has one lying around that i can buy. So we are sorted.I don't know if the LHD rack is the same as the RHD ones anyway?
