Other than the usual suspects where can I go for the rubber bobbins that are used as exhaust mounts between the baffle box and mounting plate ? Wondered if they were a fairly standard exhaust mount off something Fordy or may be the exhaust fitters would have something simmilar.

Have found of recent that the local Landy / Ford parts departments have become a little less helpful if you go in clutching a part. Without a Model / year / Chassis number the computer can’t help. It seems in most places the old chap with who used to wear a brown storeman’s coat, moved slowly and knew where every part was has retired.

That may well be what I should have but doesn’t look like what I do have. On mine there are two dome shaped rubber bits between which the flange attached to the exhaust is sandwiched then a bolt goes through the entire assembly. The ones I have look more like two enormous dome tap washers. From memory they are about 35mm in diameter and 20mm thick. How big are the ones you have Steve ?

35mm diameter... 20mm thick (excluding the bolt studs at each end). 50mm long overall.

That's the ones although mine are a little more squashed than the Pic.

THese are the ones BB. There is a male and female under 3 bolts so you'll need 3 male, 3 female, 6 in total.
Reaplced the ones on Andrea's 500 and going to do mine when I get round to swapping the exhaust over.

The Clever Trevor ones are like the ones I had off the factory, and they squash like doughnuts wink

Mine are more like the clever trevor ones and very squashed so thought I would give the other ones ago to see if they are a bit better as not some domed...dunno if that will make a difference or not.

As I know after driving bloody miles for a 'full set please', only to drive home with just the 3 female ones. Knobs irked
