I'm out here delivering Humanitarian Aid and building the 75 laptops I donated to the agency, then installing them in to schools, hospitals and aid agency offices.

I have my memory stick with me loaded with all the drivers and stuff I might need for the computers and yesterday I found a picture of my Griffith on it, so all 12 laptops I've built since then has a TVR Griffith as the windows desktop background hehe

I wouldn't want to drive a Griff out here though, I trashed a steel wheel and tyre on my VW mini bus today in a pothole about a foot deep eek

Did I mention the laptops were for the Mother Theresa Society?

Just picture it - a Griffith convoy, roof down, V8 blasting, being driven by nuns hehe

I was there in 1999 and the roads were pretty bad then, although I do remember that the road from Pristina to Lipljan was nicknamed Eau Rouge for obvious reasons yikes

Oddly enough I was down the road from Prishtina to Lipjan today. The road has pretty much been fixed now but you can tell how bad it was because it looks like a patchwork quilt.
KFOR still have a very heavy presence down there - more than I've seen up towards Peja where we were based until yesterday.

I got a photo of the Director of Education, Sport, and so many other things I can't remember, down in Kacinik today using one of our laptops - and in shot is another laptop with my Griff as the Desktop hehe

Heading for home tomorrow biggrin

Too damned busy to join the lower classes and get my hands dirty.
Been doing meet-and-greet with the great and good over here, I couldn't very well do that with caloused hands now could I wink

Actually, I've worked harder in this 9 days than in the last 9 months put together.
Sadly, Deb isn't too impressed at me being a kept man, and anyone who has met her will know she isn't one to be messed with eek
