She lives.... And I mean properly lives. The weather was ok today so I crabbed my way to the alignment place. I was unhappy with how she felt to say the least, but as I'd set the geo up "by eye" with no measuring instruments whatsoever I expected it to be a mile out. Top alignment people too, letting me get under the ramps and do half the work myself!! Turns out everything was virtually within tolerance and the only real prob once I'd set the ride height was the tracking which was almost 2 degrees out, but still not bad from just looking and going "that'll do".
Anyway, enough rambling, I took her for a shakedown afterwards and oh my goodness she's transformed!
I finally got to press the pedals a bit and she easily wound up to highly illegal speeds and felt stable as a rock
Give it a few days to bed everything in and re-torque and I'll be back on the road properly on April 1st. Can't wait
