Hi, has anybody done this upgrade from xenonshop...read below? Any good? & what would be the best way to connect the wiring. Any pics would be great.
Thanks
Hello,

Thankyou for your enquiry,

We do indeed stock a kit suitable for your H4 fitting TVR. Well we have a
choice of kits actually ranging from £119.99 upwards.

If you are finding the lighting is very very poor i would reccomend our
latest 4300k (pure white) kit in a TRUE BI XENON format. This particular
kit uses two ballasts for each side as opposed to just one. This enables
the best light output possble and seperate independant bulbs for high and
low beams. The cost of this kit is £149.99 + Delivery

We do have the more cheaper kit in stock which utilises one ballast each
side and a sliding mechanism to slide between high and low beams. This kit
is the most popular across the market and priced at £119.99.

Both kits are in stock and i can give you details of a small simple wiring
modification to help them give you even more light.

All our kits are e11 marked for use in eu and are made in factory to is09001
type approval. Beware many "made in china" made HID conversion kits are not
approved and cheaply made so stay clear of those if you want something that
will last.

Have a look on The Griffith Pages
On the first page is a link to an article I put together to document the Xenon upgrade I've just finished.
Total cost - £32 off ebay for a 6000k kit which seemed very bright white when I test drove it last night, rather than the blue tinge I was worried it might be.

Spend, I've imported the Griff in Holland. As I had to convert lights from RHD to LHD there was only H4 Hella available instead of H1. I'm considering using both low and high beams on the H4 and disconnect the cibies. Bought the set today so we will see how it's going to work out next week. Will post a pic once done.
Thanks
Bas

Just had my low beam (H1) converted to HID, best mod i have done in years. WHAT A DIFFERENCE !!
The high beam is still original and way more yellow of color and less powerful. Considering how fast the HID lights come on, they are next to be converted to HID.

The original high beams are so poor, they actually make the road darker wink

If you have HID dips then you won't even bother putting the original mains on. The new dips will reach further and be brighter.

Do both. It opens up a whole new world. You can go hooning at night when nobody else is around.

That H1 6000k kit is exactly the same as the one I bought Pasco.
Pretty damned good, with twin balasts, and I'm considering installing one into the Cibies now too.

For anyone else looking in, the rubber grommet on this kit fits into the rubber sealing cup on the back of the griff 5" dipped beam lamp as if it was made to be there.
You'll just need to cut the end off your sidelight bulb wires, push them through the grommet and refit terminals, then plug everything else in and bolt the balast to something. It really is that easy biggrin
