Personnally I can only see them going down. Although I'd love to talk them up.
David Gerald has a blue '02 one on 15k for £26K, they also have a '96 one in the same colour on 30k for £15K. I can't see as both get older the price differential will hold. Yes they will be a bit more than a standard 500, but they will fall down to the general Griffith price floor and condition will be all when they get to over 10 years old. I see on here there are (high milage) Chimaera's for under £7K.
Of course No 100 and No 1 will be worth much much more

Yep the only way is down. If the guy got £27k for it he has done very well, I think he posts on here, Stilly??.
No 9 was up for sale a short while ago (another pistonheads member) at much less, but there was also the car at HHC which was £30k.
So the prices are wildly variable. If you must have an SE, and why not, then you may have a bit of a wait but you will have to judge each car on its own merits. Only you can put a value on a car. If you get hung up on depreciation then you would never buy any car
