Griff Bonnet Catch

Hello

I need to replace my bonnet catch mechanism which attaches to the bulkhead, can anyone tell me which Ford they are from? My car is a Griff 500 (1996)- if that makes any difference.

Alternatively can anyone let me know why when the bonnet goes down, the catch doesn't lock into position? Is there a cure for this apart from replacement.
