Folks,
took Griff out Sunday and seemed to have a small blip in power loss when giving it some welly, happens in every gear around the 3/3.5k rev range.
Also once engine was nice and hot and again giving it some had slight pinking sound when under load.
Could they be related...?
He had full service 3 weeks ago which included: Dizzy cap & rotor arm, spark plugs (extenders nearly new)air filter, fuel filter, oil & filter.
Leads are from Jamie at Castle Race and only a year old.
Engine rebuild by Rob at V8 Developments 3 years ago and only covered 6k.
Have checked obvious items, any other suggestions...!?
(off topic) I've also had thoughts on the 2 piece targa roof and think the single cut from side to side is a great idea as the rear struts will close the two together hopefully.
Might have to find me a second hand roof...
