Here we go....never simple is it?
Discussion
I had the battery replaced today at my local garage.
Driving home I noticed that the ice detector light was on? Then the hazards started flashing for no reason, and then switched off, only to come back on again at some point.
Got home, hazards are now staying off, but the ice detector light stays on, and the flashed rapidly a few times - this cycle repeats itself.
Am I supposed to reset anything now that the battery has been replaced?

It sounds like your alarm is having a strop.
When mine did this I had to cover the alarm with as much fabric as I could get around it to muffle it and disconnect the car battery overnight.
This let it whine all night to flatten its internal battery so it would reset when I reconnected the car battery.

I would suggest the garage have dislodged some wires while messing about, the loom sits on top of the battery, just have a look and make sure all the relays and fuses are seated correctly.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Yep.. Exactly that.
I put a new uprated battery on mine at the weekend and had to reposition the ECU and loom as it was slightly higher than the old one.
Had exact same symptons as you describe.
Check and check again all those loom and relay connections plus make sure the ecu is securely plugged into the loom.
If its like mine you will find the loose connection and it will right itself.
