Just to say a big thanks to all the pistonheaders that have help me through the trials and tribulations of getting Alice, my Griff 500, back on road and ready for this years wedding duties. She did her first wedding on Thursday with Elanor (Chim 500), covering 300 miles withough fault. All the best to Rob and his bride Glenys, turns out Rob's a pistonheader and hopes to join the TVR clan soon. The final list of parts replaced are:

Drilled and groved discs all round
Red suff pads all round
Goodridge braided brake hoses all round
Dot 5.1 fluid
Steve Heath Arb droplinks all round
Second hand steering rack
Rack gaitors
Track rod ends
SP12 Wheels
Toyo T1-Rs all round
Fuel Filter
Ecu temp sensor
Lower temp big bore thermostat
Lower temp otter switch
Bosch Coil (bargain £24 ebay)
Alarm re-wired
Indicator diodes replaced
100 amp fuse and holder
Wiper delay pot fitted
Leven stalks, screws and delay knob
Boot dash switch
Boot actuator
Oil change and filter

Phew!

Only problem I've had with the Chim was hot starting, fitted the Modwise kit on Tuesday, despite a roasting hot day and many guest rides, totally cured, cheers David!

Both cars are back on duty again today.

Heres to the power of Pistonheads (especially when the boot shut with the actuator on the bench!)

Nick,

Thanks for providing such a superb service! Your 3 ladies and you were brilliant throughout the day. The best man tells me that you provided loads of guest rides, so thank you very much for that. The cars and the guest ride's provided a great talking point for both families, most of whom had never met before.

Thanks once again!

Silverstone Performance SP12s, 17" front 18" rear with 215 40 front tyres, 245 35 rears, still think they look a little thin and the rears require the drive shaft stubs to be trimmed back to get the center caps on which is a bit pony.
