Type approval certificate help needed again!!!

Hi Folks,

Anyone out there got a copy of the type approval certificates, British or if possible, French for a late model Griffith, with an SDLAA04RWBxxxxxx type chassis number? My car was first registered in May 98, but I suspect built in late 97.

I thought I'd cracked registering these things in France as I got a 95 Griffith through, but that has a different chassis number series SDLDGC5P3SCxxxxxx.

I know the 95 Griff had a French MINES type of DGC5P, does it follow that the later car would be a type AA04R?

Any help greatly received.
