Had one of my fans seize up on my pre serp 93 yr 500 there is no identification marks on the fan but i havnt removed it yet so i might find something it seems mine isnt wired into the horn and has a 40 amp fuse in the fuse box for both fans though it might have a fuse elsewhere as it has had a new fuse box and has had alot of wiring probs in the past .Fan is a ten bladed (curved) spal unit 12inch in dia. any help much appreciated .
Tom.

Looking at the state of this one i think i had better replace them both . still no idea which rated fan it is though as there was no legible markings on the fan .

Many thanks for that had a look on the griffith pages yesta , seems theres two types of fan that were fitted to the Griff was wanting to like for like with mine just in case i put the wrong rated ones in and started getting probs with blown fuses etc so far i have found out that the two fan types used are Spal
VA10AP6/47A now VA10AP70/ll or
VA10AP9/C25A
The 25A one as fitted to later griffs i think .
