Morning chaps.

I had a bit of remodelling work done on the Griff at Le Mans on Friday, Courtesy of a British Lotus Esprit of all things.

It will all get sorted on the insurance - his insurance I might add because he admitted liability and was very apologetic about the whole thing - but I won't go into details on here until its all agreed because I don't want to jeopardise the claim.

Anyway, the point of the post is the car is driveable but the NSR light cluster is smashed.
As the insurance will get me a new one I don't want to go out and buy one, so I wondered if anyone has a clear version sitting on the shelf as a spare or as a result of a light conversion, that I could borrow for a couple of months, while I drive the car over the summer to shake out all the cracks in the fibreglass.

I'm based near Nottingham but regularly get down to Stratford upon Avon via Leics/Coventry, and over to Stoke on Trent.

Ta chaps.

Morning Frazer,

The rear lights are from either a mk3 Cavalier if you have the clear version like me or Cavalier GSI if you have the smoked versions.
I'm rummaging about on ebay now but I thought I'd put a shout out to see if anyone had a spare sitting on a shelf.

I've been considering buying some as 'just-in-case' spares anyway so I might just go down that route.

Thanks for all your offers of help guys. I knew I could count on you thumbup

I was chatting to CliveF on the phone last night about my split roof and he offered me a pair of clear ones in exchange for a few beer tokens at the Growl.

It means that although it will have a gaffer tape patch on its NSR quarter, at least it will be driveable and legal so I can come to the Growl in it.
