How is the throttle cable removed from the engine to allow body off. Should the cable freely unwind through adjuster mechanism or do I undo the spindle support and remove complete.

Graham.

Its easier to lift the plenum, undo the clip at the end of the cable and then undo the adjuster nuts for removal.

or you can undo the two M10 hex screws holding the throttle linkage bracket on the back of the plenum to make it easy to access and remove the cable split pin, if you don't want to remove the plenum top.

Thanks for your solutions. I will look at both options tommorrow. Easier to persevere when you have others knowledge. Just a thought - does the plenum have to be removed to allow access to the heater pipe connections.
Just found a ratchet set in halford of all places that allows specially designed sockets to fit straight into a ratchet spanner, so reducing overall length of of an allen key for easy access from above to the rear manifold fixings.
Hydraulics and heater hoses to go before the lift.

Thanks again
Graham.

You can disconnect the heater pipes with the plenum on, would be easier with it off of course, but possible.

Cheers, taking it off made access to wiring, pipes and cable much easier, in Tiv terms.
It must feel great to be at the other end of the journey.
