Air Filters

Hello,

I stumbled across some performance air filters whilst wasting valuable work time on e-bay. I've done a search but can't find much information on here, and was really just wondering whether I could expect any significant improvement by replacing my standard filter with a Pipercross or K&N version.

My '94 500 is pretty standard except for removal of the pre-cats.

Any thoughts much appreciated.

The important bit is the elbow between the AFM and throttle body.

ACT do a kit and I think TCS do something too.

Worth doing if you do the whole thing.

also, have a chat with mike, aka AJPGriff on here, he runs tvr supplies who have an ebay shop as well, and carried out some tests on different types of air filter.

^^^^^ what he said : don't automatically assume that there's something better than what you already have! I can't rememeber all the permutations but I'm pretty sure Mike will.
