vented bonnet on at last
Discussion
Looks smart Clive. That must have been a labour of love for whoever built it.
It will be interesting to hear what you think it does to the under bonnet temps and if it affects the car handling having lost the low pressure area at the front.
It will give any local cats a hell of a shock if they are in the habit of walking up the front to get on the roof when you've parked it

Nice looking Clive.
Where did it come from originally? Was it a one-off prototype or were they in production?
Probably to soon to tell, but does the aluminum reduce under bonnet temperatures?
I tell you what festa i regret persuading him to bid for that now instead of getting someone to bid on my behalf... D'oh Bloody management meetings Where did it come from originally? Was it a one-off prototype or were they in production?

I thought that would be the answer
Clive is probably the best equipped of us to make it. Yet he resorted to buying it.
Not much hope of anyone else getting one then.
If i recall it cost stupid money

That's Fat, Bald, Uncle if you please.

When he's finished putting me in the picture shall I ask him to return your wide-angle lens?

Will you be at the Growl Festa ?

Right.
Firstly, the short fuse insinuation. IIRC it wasn’t, but it has been a while since I saw it.
Secondly, why do you keep calling me Festa? Is it ‘cos I is black you is being racist?
Thirdly, as you probably well know, I won’t be at the Growl. The Griff has been reduced to a pile of bits and won’t be ready in time. A cylinder liner slipped. Still, we (well V8D) can rebuild it, better, faster, stronger... You know what it’s like. “While we have it apart, we could...” I fall for it every time. I know you know the feeling.
Thirdly, suggestion of Pasco and I getting anything on is not just ridiculous, it’s physically impossible.
Fourthly, Clive, stop trying to intimidate Pasco. You know I haven’t worked on club doors in years. I’m old and grey, just like my old friend and teacher of many years, Vernon
