I am lifting the body this afternoon. What advise can anyone give regarding body safe placement of the complete shell on to the ground for a months storage?

Cheers

Well obviously it shouldn't be actually on the ground and needs to be supported equally to prevent twisting and damage to the paintwork and structure. Cover and block any holes to prevent ingress of water and creatures.

Sit it on blocks on top of the chassis if space is tight.

Can you get hold of any wooden pallets?
Two of these lined up would provide a good base to sit it on.

Thanks all for the advise. I have placed it on 2 100mm joists running inboard of front and rear wheels. looks pretty well supported. What do you think?
The rot in the outriggers is pretty bad, taken plenty of photos to upload at some point.
Its not much more effort to remove the chassis than to only partially raise it. And how much more accessible it is.
Hope to have the chassis pretty well stripped by the end of the weekend and then its booked in for some welding, blasting and nylon coating.
Looks like I may have lost the summer!
