HI. everyone can someone please tell me the length of the rear springs (standard) on a 500 griff when they are not on the shocks ,i have put on new shocks and springs and back end is sitting down about2" lower,wheels are just clearing arches ,i can,t get an idea from my old one as i no longer have them .also am i right in thinking that the spring is 275 ish per lb any help is welcome as always thanks paul

I'll help you abit maybe my old shocks are in my garage so i just measured the rear ones {yellow} 205mm eye to eye 380mm they are still on the shock.This was on a 4l chim it maybe of some help.

The spring rate is normally on top or bottom of spring once you have unwound the adjuster in white pen.Try setting the rears at 40mm from bottom ring to bottom of lock ring that's about right.

if its any help, I had a similar problem a little while back, I spoke to Joo at track car solutions, and its a trial and error thing if you don`t know what you have already, but springs are cheap, around £20 each, anyway I tried 325lb springs on the back, screw up 40mm from bottom of the shock thread and they work great, just lucky first time I suppose, but joo does seem to know what he`s on about
