MINILITE WHEELS
Discussion
I agree...but i don't think you can get minilites big enough. Anything over 15" dia seems extremely rare (if available at all).
What I really want is colour-coded Revolution four spokes. The ultimate retro wheel IMHO:

Again, size is the problem.

Ive been desperately trying to find minilites (or the better looking superlite) for my S for a few years .. I think they would look even better on a Chimaera though on the basis that spiders look much better on chims than griffs so it continues that round spoked theme.
I do think that a track-focussed S with superlites or revolutions would look fantastic!

I like the classic deep dish minilites that I saw recently on an original Tuscan. Just wondering if anyone has put them on a griff as I think they would look good.
I seem to remember a couple of years ago a griff up for sale with what looked like minilites fitted it was an ocean green griff with dark green interior and a galvanised chassis from memory it looked great and i did look into it on the net but size seems to be the problem i couldnt find any bigger than 15 inch either.Toma500 that will be my Griff then, it was four years ago and it had gold minilites on they were 7x17 according to the advert but the previous owner kept them as they were brand new.The Griff is a pre-cat and it had 500 wheels on it when I bought it.The Griff did look great with the minilites on I have a picture of it somewhere if I can dig it out I will post it on here,I do not know where Alex the previous owner got them from but if someone is really interested,I do have his contact number somewhere.(remember it is four years ago).

Jees how time flies thought it was just a couple of year back . Nice looking griff lovely colour combo , Afraid i went for the standard mid life crisis red with very bling gold badges mind you
Image offer a Minilite inspired split rim up to 16" which could look good on a Griff ..... http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/large_wheel_pages/rm1...
Hi Guys,
I will put Miniltes (or similar)on my griff 500, when it is ready for the road..
I have some replicas on my vixen S2 and they look great..
The griff has some 18" wheels on a present but I really don`t like them so maybe Superlites ( they have a nice polished rim) If the importer has the right size.
I think 17`s would look good.

The makers themselves (I think)! Up to 16"...or split-rim ones up to 19"!
(I know this thread is a bit old but I stumbled on it when doing a superlite search!)
