Thermostat Griff 500, Which way?

I know real stupid, removed housing and thermostat fell out before i could see which way it went. no im paranoid about fitting incase its the wrong way round. Please help.

Have you had a close look to see if the thermostat has a little arrow or something punched into it to indicate the coolant flow direction? I'm sure some do, if not I'm sure somebody will be able to find an appropriate picture. I think my old Range Rover haynes manual may have a piccy of some sort.
