anyone fitted an oil cooler to thier griff, if so what were the results

V8S not Griff, but the result was the oil pressure didn't drop off when the engine was pushed hard. Absolutely essential to fit an oil stat though.

Fitted a 19 row oil cooler with Mocal thermostat. Excellent piece of kit, oil temp is now between 90 and 100 celcius. When driving like a madman up the mountains and in 40 celcius the oil temp never came above 115 celcius. I agree with Peter it's a must have for the V8.

Was that the Peninsula 'kit' or did you put it together yourself ?

The kit is from our (Netherlands) local dealer the Nimag. It was 250 euro. I'm sure there is someone on PH who can tell you where to get it in the UK.
