Discussion
As much as it pains me I have just been on Fordy's site and have seen the results of the latest tests of his super looking Tuned exhaust manifolds for the TVR RV8
Now i know me and him have our ups and downs but Blimey i have to take my Hat off to you Clive
them results are Fantastic !!
Err do you think i could have some Discount ?
Nice Work Fella look forward to seeing you and your motor at the Growl
I recon they will be good for the racing fraternity as well as the 300 plus BHP TVR V8 Boy's
Must start saving up

Joke apart they look Fantastic

Website says £2600-£2900 ish. They do look very good but....

ETA before anyone gets on my case I'm not suggesting for one minute that they are over priced. I can see the amount of time and effort(and skill) that's gone into making them, but it is a lot of money.

Quote from TGP "This is one of the most exciting after market modifications that has come out for the TVR V8 engine in a long time"
Of which I firmly believe it is, I have spoke to Clive a number of times whilst he has been building these pipes and the Guy has put so much work into along with serious testing with Joos over the last 6 months.
When you know how many man hours they take to make and the HP gains you get from them I think the price is spot on... I always remember being told when trying to find extra BHP you should put away at least £100 per BHP. How true that is I don't know put i think its about right with what I have spent and the gains I have.
When I first see pictures a while back I didn't know what to really think look wise but the more you talk to Clive and listen to how the are made the more I realise not only are they a work of Art the really do do what they were made for.
Well Done Clive, Joos and the others involved Bloody Fantastic job

just one final thing. Proberly a really stupid question, but I'm not sure exactly how things are packaged differently on a Griff, but would these fit a Chim no problems?
there shouldn`t be anymore problems than with the griff, have you read the fitting guide on the website?basically with the amount of pipework in the secondary pipes area, fills the front square area of the chassis where your normal y piece fits, so things like coolant pipes and power steering pipes need to be re routed, I need to double check on the powered steering issue, as the final design I feel should clear the pump body.
