GROWL - lack of things happening??
Discussion
Doens't seem to be much activity on the above threads - is anyone ordering merchandise, oil, putting bids in for the Ride Drive and Clives decat pipe!!!!!!!!
I know you're loving the BBQ as I've got 160 now.
Huge effort goes into getting these deals and putting on the entertainment so please support it otherwise we are unlikely to get them again.
Dealines are looming for oil purcahse and merchadise so if you want to secure a great deal then please order now.

Also I have lined up the following technical talks on the Saturday of the Growl...
12.00 - Derek - Absolutely Shocks - on suspension set up
13.00 - Steve - Steve Heath - “Why are Griffs so twitchy and tail happy? What can you do about it?”
14.00 - Mike - Polishing Company - on Detailing
15.00 - Ian - ITS Sports and Performance - on Basic Maintenance/Servicing
16.00 - Carl - Car and Bike Installations - on Alarms and Audio
These will last 10/15 minutes each and all you have to do is hang around the relevant vendors marquee at the appointed time to listen in. There will obviously be scope to ask questions as well
cheers

I've signed up for a rolling road session and the Ride Drive taster (and I fully expect to sign up for a half day session as a result).
I needed oil prior to the growl but ordered from Opie anyway, but it's a good price so may pre-order another 5l.
Those sessions sound good, I've emailed Steve Heath but no reply as yet was hoping they would have some copies of the Bible there as the TVR shop are charging a £10 for postage which I'd rather not pay if I don't have to.

No probs - Steve is offering 15% discount for all orders placed for collection at the Growl. This is the email he sent out in JUne...I needed oil prior to the growl but ordered from Opie anyway, but it's a good price so may pre-order another 5l.

"As in previous years, Steve Heath Engineering Ltd will be doing special discounts for advance orders picked up at the ...Griff Growl.
Simply enter the discount code at checkout for a 15% discount to be applied:
GROWL for pickup on Saturday 9th August at the Griff Growl.
These vouchers will both ‘go live’ on Monday 16th June 2008 and will be accepted until 3 days before each event — but please don’t leave ordering until the last minute!
Remember: owners of other models are very welcome at these events, both of which will be held at:
Ettington Chase
Banbury Road
Ettington
Stratford-upon-Avon
CV37 7NZ
UK
Further information about these events can be found at www.tvrwedgepages.co.uk and www.griffgrowl.com
If you place an order and can’t make it to the venue on the Saturday, you can either authorise a friend to pick up your order on your behalf or pay the extra 15% and I will post your order to you.
I will be attending both events with a wide range of products — but I will not be able to take credit/debit card payments on the day. So, if you wish to pay by credit/debit card or to guarantee that you can collect what you need on the day, please place your order well in advance of the event.
‘Event specific’ custom etched tankards, which proved so popular last year, will be available to order from the beginning of July."

I'm organised for the Ride Drive porno video on Saturday.
I've got everything I need from Steve Heath
Tried to order some oil for both the Griff and the Landy but neither of the guys I needed to talk to were in - and haven't phoned me back
Thanks for the reminder Jeffsy, I'll prod them on Monday.
Oh, and the BBQ but sadly I'm teatotal by the looks of it because I'm probably at work at 7am Sunday

Problem is you can't order the Bible from Steve Heath, it seems to be somewhere else (tvrshop?) so didn't think the discount and pick up applied?
Sorry for the delay in replying — we're off to the BBWF this morning & have had lots to get ready. My books are all available via the TVRCC (you don't have to be a member to buy them) & I believe they plan to be at the Growl on 9th August — so you will be able to buy my books there. If, for some reason, the TVRCC can't attend the Growl, I'll bring some of my books with me.
See you in a couple of weeks!
Regards
Steve
