Paul,

All the very best mate and we look forward to welcoming you at Griff Growl 2009.

Perhaps we can make the British Heart Foundation or similar our Growl Charity next year? What d'you think?

Hope all goes well for you Paul, I’m sure your re-wiring job will go a lot better than the one I’m performing on the Griff at the moment.

Cheers,

Simon.

Paul,
Best wishes, I had a triple by-pass in 2004 after a heart attack in 2003. Take it steady in your convalesence, it will take at least twelve weeks and there are always little twinges, aches and pains afterwards.
The op is well worthwile you will feel a great benefit from it.
If you have any concerns or want to chat before you talk to the medics feel free to PM me at any time.
I had mine done at Glenfields in Leicester who were superb and I spoke with the ward several times after I got home for reassurance about little twinges.
All the best

Yeah, the 2008 Growl charity is Fire Brigade's Victim's of Fire and we chose them because of the four firefighters from Ettington (village where the Growl is held) who lost their lives fighting a warehouse fire earlier in this year.

I was thinking we could do British Heart Foundation for 2009...

Always the Nurses, know what I mean, nudge nudge wink wink.

I got the rather large one humourous one, the day after my op who gave me a full strip wash, at which point one's manhood is as fullsome as a dehydrated gherkin which she took great delight in pointing out! Eeevvviiilllll!
