Manual rack

The manual rack fitted to my Griffith has 2 grease points - should grease or gear oil be put in the rack via them?

Are you sure? Mine has got three, one each side on top and one underneath the pinion housing. Racks are usually greased, I use Castrol LM.

Yes, it has one underneath aswell. Cannot find maintenance advice anywhere - do these get overlooked at service time?

A combination of grease with a little gear oil to keep it slopping around in there,is nice
