Say I was travelling along a disused airfield.
Car is completely standard.
In 5th and revs at 4600/4700..
What speed would I be doing..?
That would depend on a number of factors determining how quickly the circumference of the driven tyre(s) would rotate along a measured mile to calculate MPH.Car is completely standard.

Pretty sure its around 30mph per 1k.....
Definately something around there
.On my old one it used to show a whisker under 90 at 3k revs, though the GPS speed was more like 27mph for each 1k,from memory.I think that there are some with different 5th ratios, and also different diff ratios to others,as well. The AJP Griff said:

I remember it being around the 90 lepton mark at 3k so 140ish is right at 4.7k.
I've just had the gearbox rebuilt (T5) hence taking it steady.
Also just had some cooling issues dealt with as could never get the temp to behave. After standing in traffic or spirited driving the temp would rise and then it would start knocking its tits off when under load.
Not anymore... Pulls like a train all through the revs.
Simple answer was to remove the Aircon rad and a re-core to 4 core 1.5 of original rad.
Got to change the lower stat for a normal one now as temp struggling to get above 75. Happy days..
Only took me 4 years but best 200 quid I've spent on him.
