After a little looking I've now bought a Griff. WHAT HAVE I DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!eekeekeekeekeekeekeekeekeek

Its a standard 1997 Dark Blue, needs a little bit of work paint wise but following various race cars (including a Chim) I've stopped racing and wanted a good road car project as a long-term keeper.

Collecitng the car on Saturday so looking forward to a dry weekend to enjoy the car.

Will need lots of advice and would be good to catch-up with any Kent Griff owners. Based near Ashford Kent so if anyone knows of a good TVR independent in this area info would be good. Have used Austec in Crawley before, are they still OK?

There is a new place just opened in Kent.

Take a look at this thread.

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Many of the local owner's will be meeting up at the Oakdene cafe on the A20 for a drive down to there.

It would be a good chance to introduce yourself to the locals as well as seeing the new place.

Not yet, I will have to wait til next week to collect the car. The current owner had a personal plate and it will take five days to re-register.
