A mate of mine brought one three months ago and has since sold it as he says it was a Pig to drive and very small inside

Just thought I'd look how many were for sale and surprised by the quantity, suspect some dealers buying and selling at a premium though.
NO WAY would I sell either Griff unless we had no other option. In fact I've only ever sold 2 cars - a Mk5 Cortina (1st car at 17, and an Escort Mk2 Harrier, cracking car but rust was getting me down).

Blimey! Either you were loaded or you're younger than I thought. My dad had a mk IV when I was 17 - I had a 1959 F-type Victor.

The Cortina reg was FOC 10V, or could be read as f*ck 1 off.

I was told by a friend of mine 'in the trade' that the R8s were proving hard to shift brand new (probably due to the cost of what looks to me like a pumped up TT) and that dealers, maybe even Audi, were pre registering cars and them selling them cheaper as ex-demo.

Dunno if that's true (he is a BMW salesman) but it would make sense looking at all the low mileage cars for sale.
