Picked up my new Griff last night cloud9 and had a fantastic 130 mile trip home in the dry! Over the moon with it and previous owner (Carl) was a real gent who has not only kept it in fantatic condition over the last 6 years but made the whole buying process very easy. He handed it over with a full tank of petrol and other little extras that he didn't have to do clap

This are his pictures until we get some more sun!

If you know of anyone who is looking for a top quality 400SE please point them to me as HQ says I have to sell it quickly now frown

Ah, crikey, forgot about that. Old age & all that. wobble
Just got to be patient now & wait for a buyer. The cat C puts most people off which is fair enough but shout there must be someone out there who wants the cheapest R reg 500 in the country. biggrin

No going back for me Wayne, the Griff is screwed together much better than the wedge and has untold luxuries such as a trip milemeter, delayed interior light switch off and the all important ice detector wink It's also got the extra grunt I need yes

It is a bit quiet though scratchchin

Sorry...pardon? ears Been out in the SEAC and i'm a bit mutton. wink

I so agree with the build quality & extras. My old 450 Chimarea was a '99 T plate with 21,000 miles, and it was lovely..BUT, it just didn't 'do it' for me. Which was a shame...Unfortunately i had to sell at the time.

Wedges in the blood now, no surprise tbh.. after-all i've owned 4!

Look forward to seeing the beast. I assume it's a 500?

Maybe look into 'sleeving'(cherry bomb conversion), i had this done to the Chim and it sounded lovely.
I think Offords do loads of these...

Edit: Do you still have the E39 sport? How do you find the day to day running costs..fuel etc? I have a 523iSE, same colour as yours and want to upgrade.
