Griffith on plate TVR 500 - anyone know it?
Discussion
Okay, a chap i work with's son knows a guy (convoluted, i know) who is selling a Griff.
Now the info i have third hand is that its 500bhp, blue, has done 80k, and has the plate TVR 500.
Now i'm guessing the info has got distorted, and that its a Griffith 500, not 500bhp (not many NA Rover V8's putting out that sort of power).
I'm sure a car with a plate like that would be known on here though, apparently its up for under £10k.
So does anyone know it? Its in the Bristol area.
Thanks.

Seen this car at Dulfords back along. Think its imperial blue, had ford RS 7 spoke wheels on it with some sticky road/track tyres on. Think it had a sticker on the back claiming 500 gee gees and also possibly a NOS sticker which is where perhaps some of the extra 200 odd horses are coming from. Looked a bit tatty and well used but did have the number plate on. Best bet is to ring Richard Smith at Dulfords and ask him about it.

It was featured in Sprint approx 2 years back at 546 bhp (I think). Yes it has NOS, was owned by Dave Redden (sp?)£10k sound cheap, assuming things are working.
FFG
I very much doubt it's his car, Rich and Big Col have only just finished rebuilding it and tweaking it for him, and his reg is N5** TVRFFG
If it was his car then I'd take his arm off whilst you have a chance...its had at least £60k spent on it over the last 3 years!
