During a recent encounter with a sizeable bump, the flexi section on my 98 500 has developed a crack in the flexi joint at both ends and is cruelly robbing me of exhaust note.

I'm sure this must have happened to a few of us on here, does anyone have any advice regarding repair? Hopefully avoiding replacing the entire system. If anyone has a spare system/flexi section lying about I'd be happy to buy it

Help gratefully recieved

Tom

somebody posted on here about replacing the flexi section fairly recently.
Have you tried doing a search for flexi ?

Here it is

Found after doing a search for "FLEXI" in the Griffith forum.
There are a couple of other threads brought up using this search that you might find interesting reading.
