griff growl charity total

sorry if this has already been announced and I`ve missed it, as I`ve just got back from a holiday in wet and windy Majorca!
so how much was raised in the end for the firemans charity at this years growl?

No Clive you have not missed it. The delay in the announcement is that Miss Moneypenny FFG has only recently paid in all the cheques which cleared only this week. These cheques were delayed as some winners, who did not want/need their prize, then `sold` on the items to others, for the value of bid obviously, and it has taken a while for the new winners to send their money in. I also know Mrs FFG has been working all hours and something she does not get paid to do will obviously take a slight back seat to the day job.
You should have your answer soon.

Yes I did thanks Bob( thought I mailed you) ...I was awaiting to upload them into an article and have its very own Gallery on the Growl site.....You were the only one to send any piccies to me to host aswell which is a bit disappointing ;(

so why not post the total on here as well? there must be plenty of griff owners who donated to the charity who prefer to post on here rather than the trvcc site, it wouldn`t hurt to post on here as well would it?


I take it next year you will only be promoting the griff growl on the tvr club site then.

Whats the problem with just saying X pounds was raised Paul ? and i did not realise the Griff Growl was a TVRCC event in any case

not meaning to cause any problems....but the Griff Growl as I understand it was initially concieved through Pistonheads..... and subsequently was not supported by the TVRCC as they did not support single model meets..... now it seems they are taking credit

It's down to the individuals who organise it IMO, hopefully there's no politics involved here, I'd be surprised if there is.

Dont think it was anything to do with 'taking credit' it was just a forum where the total was posted.
