On the way back up from Devon yesterday, I passed a Griff (dark green?) stopped on the hard shoulder of the M5 just North of Collumpton. Anyone on here? I was in my Chim in the middle lane and gave a beep. Apologies for not stopping but saw you too late with alot of traffic around so would have been v.dangerous! Hope it was okfrown

It may have been me, and if so cheers for the look out. I was heading back late afternoon from Devon and my bonnet catch came loose so I had to do a quick exit to the hard shoulder and check it out. Was all OK. Car is Avus pearl blue but may have looked green in the light. Horrendous traffic jams M5/M4 yesterday but car sat through it fine.

It was about 5ish at a guess. Was probably you then, sorry for the wrong colour - as I said, saw you a bit late. Glad it wasn't anything serious. Yes traffic was crazy. Got stuck in traffic for ages on the M5, then the Clifton suspension bridge was shut so more static traffic then they did the swing bridge in Hotwells, Bris so more traffic!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, not good for a TVR. Lovely day thoughsmile

Yes, 5ish would have been right. Was a maiden outing after re-comissioning so I was pleased that I only had to pull over for a popped bonnet catch!! Took me 4 1/2 hours to do 200 miles due to the traffic - I was not amused!
