Morning all,

Just a quickie.

If the oil level on the dipstick drops by lets say 1cm, how much oil does that equate to to top back up again ? Is there a general rule
eg 1cm = 1 litre ??
(relating to Griff 500)

eta without checking handbook, am I right in using 10w50 or 15w50 Mobil ?

Cheers

Simon.

10/50 or 15/50 is ideal.I used to find that the amount between the lower and upper marks on mine was almost 2 litres!!

I've just bought my first Griff and was also wondering about oil. I was told fully synthetic but not 0w/-- because it's too thin and it creates poor pressure.

Would you recommend "Mobil 1 Motorsport 15W/50" then? It is fully synthetic.
