Griff Spare Wheel and Jack
Discussion
SPare whell normallu sits to the right hand sid eof the boot, you should see two rings which and band clips into to hold it in place..Ones on the floor and one up top right.
Jack is normally a little scissor type one...
Yes it can make putting the roof in more arkward so leave the wheel out and just keep a couple of cans of tyre weld..most do this and alot of sports cars nowadays come without a spare now and just have the tins of tyreweld in.

The scissor jack had a slightly concave top.
If you just go down the breakers yard you will find that a lot have a flat top.
That way it cups the round chassis tube, doesn’t mark the powder coating on the chassis so easely and the car is less likely to slip off.
It should all come in a bag made of vinyl like the roof bag.
But seeing as you should be taking BB's excellent advice to leave it at home, none of this really matters.

My jack has never been out of it's bag and lives behind the drivers seat.
Silly really as I've never carried the spare wheel!
No I don't think so Dave. I still carry my Jack and it may come in useful if you need to jack it up for other reasons...like 100a fuse blowing...( wouldn't rely on just the jack and would stuff something else under there once jacked up) or even just to get the weight of wheel while you use the tyreweld and inflater.Silly really as I've never carried the spare wheel!

The suggestion that after changing a wheel the flat will not fit in the boot is a myth. Provided there is not a lot of other stuff in there you can actually get two fully inflated wheels in. When I started hill climbing one wheel went in a plastic bag on the rear shelf, one in a plastic bag on the passenger seat and two went in the boot with all the other stuff packed around them. Bit of a technique to it as you have to put one in, roll it to the side get it at just the right angle and slide the other in.
