I've had a hard week - well, I worked 4 days ! - so took the Griff out for a blast this afternoon. I managed an 85 mile round trip to go to Macdonalds at Foxton Locks for coffee and an apple pie hehe

Here are pictures of the Leicestershire countryside from the cockpit of a Griffith around 4:45 today

Just left McD's, all warmed up from the coffee biggrin
Snuggle down then, and lets have some fun on the twisties.

I think this is a beemer 5 series. Miserable looking git anyway!

Ah, the great british countryside. Didn't notice it myself unless it had white lines painted on it.

Traffic must have frightened me!

And now some villages. Can't remember what though, probably had very odd names knowing the Leicestershire countryside.

...Just remembered this one. I think it's Ashby Folville - of the car meet fame.
Well it would be if you could actually see anything. If you look hard you can see the top of a pointy church spire in the middle of the picture.

...And this one I think is Thrussington

And home at 5:15pm, about a third of a tank and £2.10p lighter.
Rush hour is such a PITA hehe

Ms Kbear and I did a similar thing last week...

Popped down the road through Carinthia into Italy through Pisa, Lucca, the Cinque Terra, up into France past Monaco, Nice & Cannes for a quick cafe macchiato and chocolate éclair lick then back home through Tirol via Lake Garda smile

20-25 deg sunshine every day and the car was spot on the whole time..
